- Creation of projects - projects are entered into the system to record the task
- Deadline dates are optional and can be entered
- Progress reports are available
- Notification alerts are optional and the system can send notifications to employees and clients
- Employee allocation - the system administrator can allocate tasks to specific employees. This can also be modified so that the next employee can continue with the task should it be a task where more than one person will be working on
- Priority reports are available to display tasks under a specific priority such as urgent, normal, high priority etc.
- Status reports are available to display tasks under a specific status such as pending us, pending client, not started, awaiting information, completed etc.
- Completions of projects - once the task is completed it can be marked as completed and will disappear from the task list
- Total time spent on projects can be recorded to measure productivity
Notifications
- Notifications are sent to employees when tasks are added to their task list.
- They will receive occasional reminders about outstanding tasks.
- If it seems that tasks are not handled, a notification will be sent to the administrator of the Task Management System.
