Intoweb Intranet
Features
User Administration:
Users are added to the system with various access rights.
You can, for example, restric the user from using the Super
User Administration facilities. These facilities will not
be present in the menu of the user.
You can search for users or click on the relevant link
to list all the users. If you want to add, remove or edit
users, you would use the "Users" links. To administer the
rights of users, choose the "User rights" area.
Users:
When the list of users are available you have numerous options
available to you. You can:
- Modify user data
This function only allows you to modify user data, not
user rights. If you want to modify the rights of a user,
you need to click on the Manager user rights link on the
User administration page.
- Delete the user
This function allows you to remove users from the system.
- Choose to deactivate or activate a user
If you do not wish to immediately remove a user, you can
deactivate that user and activate the account again at
a later stage.
- Add user
When you add a user, you will be asked various details
about the user. You will also be asked to specify the
access rights of that user. Please note that the highest
rights for a user is "Access: Superuser", which allows
the user to perform any task in the system.
User Rights:
Once you've chosen to modify the user rights, you can
administer each user seperately.
